The Cabo Frio bus terminal is about a kilometre away, with frequent services to Búzios (40 minutes), Arraial do Cabo (30 minutes) and Rio de Janeiro (around 2.5 hours). Cabo Frio’s small airport (CFB) handles seasonal domestic flights; the larger Galeão (GIG) and Santos Dumont (SDU) airports in Rio are about 2.5 hours by car.
